Nobody wants to feel like they're receiving emails from a robot. So try adding a named person to the end of your emails for a more personal connection to your customers.

What We Say

Mailing lists and newsletters are a vital component of your business - and are successful in helping you generate leads, sales and potential future customers. They can allow you to send out discounts, offers, sneak peeks and more to those interested in your business and products.

But what customers don't want is to feel like a robot is contacting them.

When contacted by no reply in your marketing emails via your mailing list, your customers are less likely to see a real person behind the email. We've all been on the receiving end of a mass email, with no personality or personal connection to us.

And a simple way to fix that problem in your own marketing emails is to simply add a personal touch to the end of your emails, by ensuring they're sent from a named person - you! Or a team member - if you have employees that help you manage your emails.

This super-simple hack can help customers get the impression of one-on-one contact and communication with the brand or business, rather than being just another email address in a long list of email addresses receiving the same content.

Although this might be the case, this one simple change can have a sub-conscious impact on the customer and the receiver of your marketing emails, making it seem more personal, more intimate and gaining more connection between customer and brand.

So don't hide behind a no-reply sign-off in your emails. Add a named person - either yourself as the business owner or a member of your team  - for that extra personal touch to the end of your emails, which will benefit your customers in the long run by allowing them to feel like they're not being contacted by a robot!
