Push notifications are a great way to stay in communication with your subscribers, even when they're not on your site!

What We Say

A push notification is an automated message, sent by a website or app to a user when the application is not open. A user or subscriber has to allow push notifications to actually receive them, so whilst the user needs to approve consent of push notifications from a particular app or site, it can be a great tool to use for your business!

You can encourage your visitors to enable push notifications in various ways, perhaps when they make a purchase or via a pop-up on your site. Once they have enabled those push notifications, they will be added to a subscriber list, allowing you to send them push notifications.

When your visitors or loyal customers are browsing the internet on their own time, this is when you can put the push notifications into effect by notifying them of a deal, a discount or a special announcement, even if they're not actively on your site. This will ensure they don't miss anything important that they might want to know about, especially time-sensitive deals.

You can also segment your subscriber list, so you can send out more personalized push notifications, depending on what that individual subscriber is interested in. This makes for a much more personal experience for the user and will ensure they're not receiving push notifications about things they're not interested in, making it more likely for them to unsubscribe.

Enabling push notifications makes it easier to communicate more effectively and more often with your visitors, customers and subscribers, giving them the opportunity to choose to be contacted by you with an allow-all or opt-in system. This will give the subscriber more control over how often they want to be contacted by you and is an excellent system for keeping your subscribers up to date!
